Just another day in paradise...

It's 9:30.

It has been a long day and my wife is soundly sleeping. Went to our Dr's appointment and Doc spoke words that sent shots of fear down my wife's spine: "Yep, I think he's going to be a big baby"(around 9 pounds). As I sit there and try not to laugh out loud, the Dr explains that Steph is progressing very well. After that we ran some errands.

At long last I have a lawn mower. I've been staring at my lawn in disgust seeing that it had become our own little amazon. When we returned home I mowed (which was rather enjoyable) and Steph washed the car. After a nice Shower we sat back and watched a movie.

After returning from the office, we took a nice walk around town; I think my wife is trying to throw herself into labor...

God has been doing incredible things in my life. Do we ever think about the enormous way that God has provided for we disgusting people. Crazy...

Number 1

My First Blog.

There is a great deal of quiet excitement swirling in our home. Soon enough My wife and I will be joined by our first child Blake. This imminent arrival has created quite a stir. So much has been going on lately: Camps, Retreats, Appointments, Birthing Classes, and putting together the nursery (which has been done mostly by the nesting wife). Whew..... all that in one month. I can hardly believe that time has flown so quickly.
We have recently moved to Maysville, MO. I'm working at Oak Christian Church as Youth Minister and have really enjoyed it! The people here are very nice and I feel excited about the opportunity we will have to build relationships.

Now that we have caught up a bit, I'm going to bed...
